My heart is broken.
the above pictures are from my NYC visit in ‘06. The drawings are done by some of the victim’s children and they are mounted in the Subway underneath where the WTC once stood & where the Freedom Tower will one day stand.
the History channel is currently running a special entitled “102 minutes that changed America”. It is absolutely terrifying to watch this and believe that we all lived through this experience. It seems completely unreal that something this world-changing occurred during our lifetime and that it is so easily forgotten about.
