I am beginning this blog in an effort to keep a personal record of my adventure through AmeriCorps, as well as to answer questions for the many people who are interested in this organization. I leave for Denver on Monday, October 6th and I could not be any more excited/nervous/scared/hopeful for what will come of this HUGE life changing step. The above video should give you a little glimpse into why my heart is so passionate for others and why I am taking on this challenge to serve the people in this country in the best way I can.
